Yambio, 16th May 2018. South Sudan Young Leaders’ Forum team discussed with youth of Yambio ways of bringing peace to Gbudue State and South Sudan in general.
Peter Biar Ajak, chairperson of Forum, says they have visited eight states to talk to young people so that politicians do not use them to destroy the country, Anisa Radio reports.
He notes that since the conflict reputed in South Sudan, it is only young people who have been always victims of atrocities.
Jacob Ton, one of the participants, appreciates the Forum for showing them methods of realizing peaceful resolution to South Sudan.
He points out that it is the responsibility of every youth to contribute to peace building process in the country.
Youth cannot again be used by tribal leaders for their personal benefits, Ton points out.
Gbudue State Governor Daniel Badagbu Rimbasa pledges to make sure that youth come together to discuss peace to make South Sudan a better place for all people.
He says what South Sudanese need to build peaceful country.
South Sudanese youth in Juba started the Forum in January 2017.
