Robert Singira Daniel promises to conduct series of meetings with all the municipal councils to ensure peace and cooperation prevail, Radio Anisa reports.
Work hard to ensure that all the demarcated roads in the town are open to improve security and emergency assistance, he notes.
The Mayor promises to meet different community leaders concerning the recent insecurity in Ikpiro and Hai Tarawa for people to return to their villages.
He reveals that a local order has been issued to control unnecessary movement of cattle in the town and around residential areas in Yambio.
Singira calls on traders to understand the situation people are facing and rate the commodity prices accordingly.
Last month, Change Agency Association brought together all the different tribes in Yambio County to discuss the root causes of the conflict in the area.
In the previous discussion, some community members called on the leaders to regulate the unnecessary movement of cattle in farms to avoid misunderstandings.
