Vatican, 10th September 2018. The Pope urges parents to work together with school administrations as an alliance and collaboration between various components of the education must not be lacking.
According to Vatican Radio, Pope Francis while talking to 50th anniversary of Italian Parents’ Association on Friday, said “someone must take the first step” so that trust can be cared for to change the situation.
Without schools and teachers, parents ran the risk of being alone in “educational activity and less able to face new challenges of modern culture, society, mass media and new technologies, he stressed.
Without frequent communication and without mutual trust, a community is not built and without a community it is not possible to educate, he Holy Father noted.
Pope Francis said it is the task of the Church to help eliminate the educational isolation that families can feel as it is a place where parents could come to receive trust and support.
The Pope told the parents that children “are the most precious their gift and parental commitment and generosity would help their kids to grow in faith and character.
