Addis Ababa, 25th May 2018. Some South Sudanese women are appealing to the warring parties in the High Level Revitalization Forum, in Addis Ababa, not to sign a peace deal with reservations to avoid collapse of agreement like the 2015 peace deal.
Women call on the parties to address the major issues and sign a real peace without reservations.
The head of women monthly forum, Betty Sunday stresses that women are not ready to give birth to children to be sent to grave.
She fears that the current situation might worsen since the warring parties were unable to reach to a consensus.
Sunday emphasizes the need for formation of a national army which represents all South Sudanese and canton it far away from the civilians to reduce insecurity.

The ongoing civil war between government and opposition’s forces claimed thousands of lives and forced millions of people to refugee camps in neighbouring countries.
