Juba, 14th May 2018. UN Undersecretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator is expected to arrive in Juba on Tuesday.
Mark Lowcock’s trip from May 15 to 16 is to see first-hand and the appalling humanitarian situation.
He during the two-day mission is expected to call for urgent action to alleviate suffering.
Lowcock will meet with people affected by the humanitarian crisis, senior government officials and humanitarian partners in Juba and Yei.
He will brief the press on the humanitarian situation in South Sudan.
