Tombura, 12th July 2017. The State Minister of Information, Culture, Youth and Sports today says the newly created State of Tombura continued be peaceful.
John David Sakpio while speaking to Anisa FM Radio says peace and security are the main priorities for the State.
People are busy with cultivation because it is rain season people are trying to produce sufficient Agricultural produce this season to fight the looming hunger in the Country he reveals.
Sakpio says Tombura state stand for unity, development, and peace he explains.
He urges citizens of greater Western Equatoria and South Sudan to be united so that they can be able to get lasting peace.
He says the health situation in the State is good because the Ministry of Health in the State is working hard to make sure citizens get health services because the government and partners are supplying medicines to the health facilities in the State.
The Information Minister invites every South Sudanese to go to Tombura State to live and work there.
The minister of information youth and sport reveals that the citizens of Tombura State have celebrated South Sudan independence Day in a peacefully manner for the first time after the creation of the State last year.
