Khartoum, 29th August 2018. Sudan foreign minister and the chief negotiator of the south Sudan Peace talks says the parties have fulfill the IGAD mandate.
Al Dirdiri Mohamed Ahmed mentions that all the parties except the government of south Sudan have agreed to the proposals.
He adds that the parties agreed on the outstanding issues and enlarging the cabinet from thirty to thirty five.
The minister stresses that some of the issues like the power sharing of the five vice presidents and some of the issues raised by all parties were considered. He added that other issues that did not conform to unanimous agreement were consequently dropped.
The minster was speaking during the final discussions of the peace agreement in Khartoum Sudan.
