Yei, 9th April 2018. Let those hindering people from cultivating stop blocking roads for people to farm, says Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Yei.
The state has been humiliated enough with hunger and people have been termed to be beggars, depending on relief only, according to Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe, Easter Radio reports.
The Catholic prelate notes that people are humiliated as if there is no land or rain in the state as violence of war has reduced people to beggars.
He calls on the state government to open up roads, security personnel and the opposition groups for people to product.
Bishop Lodu urges UN agencies to protect civilians and deal with the government.
The Bishop made the call on Divine Mercy Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral.
