Amadi, 24th August 2018. The police commissioner of Amadi State says the security situation is normal after the signing of Peace agreement in Khartoum Sudan few weeks ago.
Major General Elia Kosta says movements between Amadi and the Neighbouring States like, Rumbek, Yei, Maridi and Jubek is now flowing without any interference.
Kosta reports that there are few crimes being reported only on domestic and three days criminals from the community looted a vehicle which was moving between Amadi and Juba and the Government manager follow them and arrested some suspects.
Some of the challenges affecting Amadi Police forces and other organize forces include insufficient number of forces to keep law and orders and few number of cars and he mentions poor telecommunication network affecting them because MTN is the only Mobile Network in Mundri town.
He calls for inter-States movements whereby people from Western Equatoria Region should build their good relationship because the division of the States was not to divide the people but to give services to people.
The Police Commissioner was talking today in a telephone interview from Amadi State to Anisa FM Radio.
