Yambio, 23rd August 2017. Protect and utilize soil well for agricultural production to avoid poor harvest of crops, Coordinator for Solidarity Riimenze Farmers Project in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio encourages farmers.
Elias Kukoyo says the top soil helps the people to daily cultivate and produce food to survive on.
The Coordinator enlightens farmers that the soil is a living element that needs to be cared for so that it produces good yields.
He encourages farmers to use crop rotation as one way of avoiding soil erosion.
The Program Coordinator made the remark on Radio Anisa Daily Bread Show on Monday.
