Juba, 28th August 2017. People should be sensitized on the dangers of hate speech and they be warned against it rather than passing laws, says Member of Parliament.
Alfred Taban notes that education is needed to make people know the definition of hate speech.
Taban appeals to the youth to use social media for good purpose in South Sudan and not destruction of the country.
He warns people who create fake accounts in other people’s names to stop that bad practice.
The Member of Parliament was speaking on Saturday on defy-hate-now initiative policy makers workshop.
