Tambura, 21st August 2018. The newly enthroned parish priest for St. Mary Tambura parish on Sunday promises to work hand in hand with Christians for the growth of the church.
Rev. Fr. Mark Kumbonyaki says he has come to be a servant to Christians citing that the only gift he has for Christians is to lead them to the kingdom of God.
Despite the economic constrain in south Sudan he promises to colloborate with all chapels under his parish to ensure effective Evangelization and to work hand in hand with the state government.
For his part Hon. James Adu Votoki the acting Governor for Tambura State assures the new Parish priest of Security and cooperation from the government citing that the priest is free to move for his pastoral work without any problem in the state.
He thanks the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Tambura-Yambio for sending priest to the people of Tambura parish who have been missing priest for sometime.
However the bishop delegate Rev.Fr.Thoms Bagbiowia the Vicar for the clergy and religious who also doubles as the legal officer for the Catholic Diocese of  Tambura-Yambio urges Christians to cooperate with new parish priest  for the development of the Church.
He calls on Christians to stop segregating priests because all priests are ordained for the same purpose of Evangelization worldwide.
Rev.Fr.Mark Kumbonyaki was appointed earlier this month to replace Fr.Alfraid Basana as the parish priest of St. Mary Tambura Parish to gather with Rev. Fr. Abraham Abayo who was enthroned on Saturday as the parish priest of St . Francis Gamunakpe.
The enthronement took place on Sunday at St. Mary Tambura Parish.

In the first place, that is what priests should do; they should use themselves as the ultimate instrument for peace and love. I am happy to see that Rev. Fr. Mark Kumbonyaki has this aim. With everything that is happening with our environment right now, we need to find people who can bind us with one good cause. We need people who will uplift us and empower peace. Religion should never be a barrier for us to reach out. We should use it as a power to influence and inspire other people!
