Juba, August 2018. The national Parliament and Council of States on Monday passed 2018/2019 budget to its third reading.
According to the speaker, Anthony Lino Makana, the second reading was mainly focusing on members of the parliament debating on issues affecting the general economy of the country.
He appeals to the committees to speed up the process of the budget in order to pave way for the endorsement of the peace agreement.
Lino urges the internally displaced persons within the country and those in the refugee camps to return home and join the rest of the people in building the nation.
He calls on the people to welcome them back to join the rest of the communities.
The speaker was addressing the lawmakers during the second reading of the budget bill in Juba on Monday.
