Minister stresses need for support to build new prison.

Wau, 20th August 2018. Wau Minister of Public Service calls on the national government and humanitarian partners to support the state government’s plan to build new bigger prison.
Voice of Hope Radio quoted James Ernest Makuei saying the current prison is small and is congested to support the state government implement its plan.
Wau prison was established in 1946 with an aim of hosting 250 people, but now keeps over 500 prisoners.
