Juba, 15th February 2018. Mediators of the High Level Revitalization Forum for South Sudan on Wednesday started consulting parties on outstanding issues to come out with a draft proposal, says Government spokesperson.
Michael Makuei Lueth says the mediators are looking for a way forward on Chapter One which talks about on governance.
The spokesperson discloses that South Sudanese started talking alone on how to end the conflict in country.
The low speed in the revitalization process may force the parties not to sign the agreement on the fixed date, says Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro, Chairman for South Sudan national Movement for Change.
He expresses optimism that if all go well, they will sign the agreement within few days.
Committees are continuing to consult with mediators on outstanding issues.
