Maridi, 17th July 2018. The government of Maridi state utilizes local revenue to procure 9 executive vehicles and to boost development in the state.
The procured vehicles are to ensure easy mobility of some executives and other relevant authority in the state government according to the state deputy governor.
Hon.Samuel Bati says the state legislative assembly got 2 share out of nine 3 were given to the secretariat and four others were given to some advisors in the second phase of the procurements.
He notes that the state government has also impacted on road rehabilitation from Maridi state capital up to the border with Gbudue state and other roads from the state capital to the boarder of Yei and Amadi states will follow.
In other development the government has improved on civilian’s military relationship to ensure that all access roads to the state are accessible without any security threat.
The deputy governor confirms that the security situations of Maridi state has improved since the government directed all organize forces to crackdown any criminal activities and 9 suspected criminals have been so far apprehended.
He revels that the insecurity on the road connecting Maridi state to Gbudue and Yei River states have negatively contributed to the skyrocketing market prices as the two roads remain the only importing source of goods to the state.
