Juba, 24th October 2018. The professor at the University of Juba is advising students to take precautions before joining any university or higher institutions of learning.
Dr Cirisio Oromo told Radio Emmanuel in Torit on Monday that many private universities operate without registering at the national Ministry of Education.
He fears the academic documents obtained from unregistered private institutions may not be recognized which later may be waste of resources for students.
Dr Oromo advises private institutions in the country to follow legal procedures to guarantee educational services for the population.
He says a recognized university should have full library, professors, space to ensure quality services.
Dr Oromo urges the Ministry of Higher Education to supervise private institutions which he claims is business oriented to save the future of students.
