Yambio, 8th August 2018. The signing of peace agreement in Khartoum is good news that raises hope for all South Sudanese, says the Bishop of Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese.
Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro appreciates all parties to the Khartoum agreement, all commitments and work well done, Anisa Radio reports.
He appeals to everybody to keep on watching every minute to make sure that the signed agreement is well implemented.
Bishop Hiiboro calls on the parties to compromise and dialogue throughout the implementation.
The Catholic leader urges other parties who signed with reservations to deliberate on those points that they are not agreeing upon and come to final agreement.
The Bishop is calling on the government and oppositions to open their hearts and listen to the other side without blocking their minds.
The Catholic prelate urges the government and the opposition also to learn how to reconcile and feel as brothers of one country for the welfare of South Sudanese.
The Bishop encourages South Sudanese to intensify their prayers so that God may truly transform the situation of the country and become a new loving community and new people.
