Yambio, 5th July 2017. Inter-Faith Based Council in Yambio is appealing to the Government of Gbudue State and the Government in Juba to immediately graduate South Sudan National Liberation and SPLA-IO in Yambio.
Pastor Richard Tomas Nzeme information Secretary of Inter-Faith Based Council says their team has visited Birisi the Centre designated for the training and graduation of SSNLM but the arrangements are not completed.
He reveals that as the monitor the situation of the centre the first group of SSNLM forces are lacking food stuffs in the camp.
Pastor Nzeme requested the host community of Birisi to cooperate with the sons and daughters who are coming to stay with them including giving some help.
He says, the community of Birisi also complain that they don’t have enough food supply that they produce this year that will feed them and new forces coming to stay with them.
Pia Phillip Michael Gbudue State Acting Minister of information says there are some of the arrangement made on the ground so that the graduation followed by integration of those forces make may take place in the State.
Pia reveals that it is not the State Government alone responsible for the graduation of those SSNLM and SPLA-IO who defected to the government but also the National Government in Juba is coordinating with the state to make sure the process is completed.
The Acting Minister of information who is also the State Minister of Education, Child and Social welfare was talking to Anisa FM Radio here in Yambio.
