Hepatitis B is on rise in Tambura says information Minister.

Tambura, 23rd August 2018. Tambura state minister of information culture youth and sports says an alarming hepatitis cases are on rise in Tambura state.
According to Hon.Mathew Emme hepatitis is becoming alarming because over 900 people tested last week 372 were tested positive with the disease in the state.
He says at the moment there is no hepatitis vaccine in Tambura state where people can access this service unless those who can go to the neighboring states and if nothing is done this can lead to mass spread of the diseases in the state.
The state government is calling on any development partners to intervene immediately to control the situation.
On the same note the minister confirms that so far no Ebola cases has been discovered in Tambura yet but medical team has been deployed to monitor the situation at the border with Congo.
Last week Tambura state authority announced the outbreak of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo advising the public to stop unnecessary movement to the boarder and hand shake as means of greeting.
The official was speaking to Anisa FM this Morning from Tambura State.
