Health Minister urges parents to take children for vaccination.

Yambio, 2nd May 2017.
The Minister of Health in Gbudue state is urging parents to take their children for vaccination against measles as they are venerable of getting the disease.
Hussein Enoka says suspected cases have been detected in Gbudue state already.
He says the national campaign against measles is expected to start tomorrow on Wednesday.
Minister Enoka warns that the disease can spread quickly, especially in a crowded place and can kill.
He says when health workers talk of children’s rights; it includes the right to vaccination and other health services.
World Health Organization, WHO describes measles as a highly contagious serious disease caused by a virus, normally passed through direct contact and air.
The virus infects the respiratory tract and then spreads throughout the body.
No specific antiviral treatment exists for measles virus, WHO confirms.
