Yei, 16th August 2018. The governor of Yei river state has identified security stabilization as one of the major as one of the major factors for sustainable agriculture and trade.
While addressing the press in his office Emmanuel Adil Anthony says he briefed the leadership in Juba about the need to stabilize security in his state.
He says this will restore calm and allow residents to enhance crop production and allow access to farms.
Adil states that his search for humanitarian assistance to support the internally displaced persons in the state was successful.
He further calls on individuals who have taken up arms to consider the suffering civilians and allow peace to prevail for stability of the state.
Yei River state is in high demand of food commodities as farmers cannot access their farms due to insecurity.
