Government register good outcome of security during celebrations in Yambio

Yambio, 10th January 2018. The Government of Gbudue State registered good security during Christmas and New Year celebrations in Yambio and Gbudue State at large.
All security arrangements ended successfully and peacefully in the state, say government officials, heads of organized forces and civil society in their evaluation for Christmas and New Year.
Pia Phillip Michael, who chaired the evaluation meeting, says the security apparatus provided safety to citizens and their property during Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Chairperson of Organizing Committee Colonel from Division Sixteen in Yambio appreciates the government of Gbudue State for giving moral support to the organized forces.
Police Commissioner of Gbudue State Major General James Monday Enoka says it is the first mandate of the police to offer security to citizens.
He mentions that crimes have reduced during the two celebrations by 20 percent that resulted to success in Christmas and the New Year festivity.
Phillip Gbambi, Commissioner of Yambio County, appreciates all forces for the effort they have put.
There is no report of any police force committing crime during the operations, he testifies.
Gipson Bullen Wande, State Minister of Information in Gbudue, says the civil population reported good celebration this year because of work well done by security personnel in the state.
He adds that citizens commended soldiers for respecting civilians during the celebrations.
Citizens in Gbudue State say the celebrations this year is unique and peaceful because there were no gunshots during Christmas and New Year celebrations.
