Yambio, 28th April 2017. Gbudue Education Minister is urging all learners in the state to use their two-week holiday for their own and families’ benefit.
Pia Philip Michael says many Payams have achieved academic progress, except Li-Rangu and Nadiangere.
There is peaceful environment that has allowed children to go to school since the beginning of the academic year in February, he adds.
Despite the salaries’ delay, students attend their classes and teachers have committed to offer lessons to pupils in schools, the minister acknowledges.
Philip says the current situation is calling for parents’ creativity for children not to stay at home.
It is the responsibility of the school to budget in time and report the attendance of children at school in order to receive the capitation grand, the minister discloses.
He encourages the students to read their books during the two weeks holiday and help parents in cultivation.
Philip urges the parents to cooperate and do their part as the education of their children is concerned.
The minister appreciates effective collaboration with education partners like, Intersos, ADRA and ECSSS.
