Education is a responsibility not an opportunity, says education Minister of Maridi

Maridi, 28th July 2017.  The State Minister of Education, Gender, Child and Social Welfare of Maridi State says, education is a responsibility not an opportunity.
Jane Pia Phillip Michael says teachers are the milestone of education and it needs collective responsibility to support them to realize quality education in the Country.
She reveals that South Sudanese have gone through many wars that had crippled their education level in any way or the other.
Pia says there are successful programs being conducted regarding Education in Maridi state.
She mentions some of the challengers that are facing her Ministry includes lack of teachers specially for science subjects and mathematics among others
Pia explains that the solution to the problems is to train more teachers to prioritize those teachers to use them for better education of the children.
She appreciates some teachers who are so concerned about their profession of teaching who are not after money but the future of the next generation to come.
The State Ministry of Education Gender, Child and Social Welfare in Maridi State is aiming this time to announce the vacancies of teachers to recruit more trained teachers.
She urges citizens in South Sudan to contribute and support teachers so that they can have enough time to teach in Schools.
