Eastern Equatoria civil society endorse new constitution.

Torit, 28th May 2018. Civil society network General assembly of Eastern Equatoria on Thursday met at Torit Women Centre to validate a constitution that can guide their activities.
Charles Okullu chairperson of the Network belief once the constitution is endorse by the general assembly members it will become a legal document for that guides their work.
Okullu says Civil Society Network has been running for many years without a constitution making work difficult and tedious.
According to Okullu approving the constitution will help reduce work load since his organization has divided its members in thematic areas of operation.
“Our civil societies were scattered before, getting information become difficult and sometime getting information you get it in a very raw manner” Okullu adds.
The official was talking to Journalist before the approval of the constitution that gathers 51 civil society members in Torit on Thursday.
