CSOS urges Tax revenue to allocate some money for services Delivery.

Yambio, 14th August 2017. Young Women Christian Association in partnership with Democracy international with the project success conducts a Civil Society monthly Forum.
Civil Society organization in Gbudue state is calling on State revenue Authority to allocate some money from state revenue for service delivery purpose besides maintaining of Security.
Community organization for peer educators or COPE executive director in the monthly forum urges the security there must be special consideration for Health and Education as the major priority after security.
He calls on the government to carryout awareness to the citizen on the taxation procedures and how it is being spend for trust and willingness from the citizen to pay tax.
Acting director general from the state ministry of finance and planning Justin Machine says that it is the responsibility of every citizen, business community, civil servant and NGOs.
He says that the money collected from the community is in return in service delivery like roads, health facilities, schools and power sources and other necessary requirement by the community.
Gbudue State revenue Authority inspector Edward Enasio outline some challenges where some clients always refuse to pay taxes because they want know how the money is being spend.
He adds that most of the tax collection goes to maintaining of security in the state for the protection of civilian.
The one day monthly forum brought sixty participants from different CSOs, Police State revenue Authority, State Ministry of Finance and planning on Wednesday.
