Nzara, 28th July 2017. The commissioner of Nzara County in Gbudue state is calling on Civil Society Organisations to cooperate with their government to improve development and stability in the country.
Elia Richard Box Nzara County Commissioner says the government of Gbudue state has recognized the effort of CSOs in working towards development and stability in the state and the country at large.
He encourages the civil society organisations to implement all the projects that can bring developments because this will encourages donors to fund more programs in the state.
Box challenges some organisations for they are not doing follow up, knocking the doors and asking the government for what are their visions and missions and see how they can help each other
The Commissioner urges the entire citizens to remain hopeful and prayerful for peace to come back to south Sudan
He encourages people to find amicable solution to any problems that may arise among themselves stop blaming each other’s and work collectively for stability in the country.
On their side CSOs cited that conflict of interest, poor reporting system and weak leadership within some CSOs as some of factors hampering productive partnership between CSOs and the government.
They say for them to overcome all the challenges, there is need for involvement of the two parts in monthly forum ,appliance sharing and taking legal.
