Juba, 24th April 2018. The Catholic Archbishop of Juba congratulates his counterpart for Episcopal Church of South Sudan Archbishop Justin Badi Arama for his enthronement as new primate.
Archbishop Justin Badi Arama, former Bishop of Maridi Diocese succeeds Archbishop Daniel Deng Bull on Sunday and expected to lead for ten years.
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro expresses his gratitude to God for inspiring the Episcopal Church to take historical step and timely moment of the church and the country.
He comments that Archbishop Badi is one of the legitimate and capable spiritual leaders in the church.
Archbishop Lukudu also commends Archbishop Daniel Deng Bull for carrying the provincial cross until he gave it peacefully to his successor.
He adds that the gesture by Archbishop Daniel Deng shows how leaders should pass on the position to one another peacefully when the mandate ends.
Archbishop Justin Badi Arama is the fifth Archbishop and Primate of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan.
