Torit, 17th May 2018. The Caritas emergency officer for Torit is calling communities to share seeds with those who did not get.
Speaking to Radio Emmanuel in Torit, Adolfo Odwa John admits that the quantity of seeds distributed were too little to cover the whole population in Torit.
The Caritas officer reveals that above three hundreds households of small Christian communities has on Saturday receive seeds and tools.
The seeds distributed include maize, sorghum, groundnuts and cow peas.
Odwa warns beneficiaries against consuming seeds saying they are poisonous for domestic use.
