Juba, 29th July 2017. The Council of ministers in its ordinary sitting on Friday directed the police to protect the constitutional post holders instead of SPLA, says Government Spokesperson.
Michael Makuei Lueth says the cabinet resolved that officials have to reduce their bodyguards especially those with SPLA soldiers and surrender them to their units.
The spokesperson explains that Governors will have 30 body guards, speakers and deputies, ten and five for ministers.
The Minister of Interior Michael Chanjiek Gai is advising people selling fuel at the black market fuel to refrain from that business because it is dangerous and the deadline is ending, says Makuei.
The spokesperson was speaking to Journalists after the council of Ministers meeting.
