Yambio, 4th July 2018. The bishops award of excellence 2018 has been postponed for the second time up to November this year in Yambio.
The occasion which comes as the initiative from Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio intending to appreciate and encourage some people in Western Equatoria region for their hard work.
The awards earlier on was supposed to be in May this year and was pushed to July but unfortunately it has been postponed again to the end of the year in November.
According to Mr. Daudau Cesear Sasa Chairperson of Bishops’ awards of excellency said the reason for pushing this occasion is because they want to make it to be colorful and they have yet to received all what it needs for the awards.
Daudau confirms that as they are waiting for the time to come they are working hard on arrangements to make sure the occasion should take place in a very successful way.
He said the current work they are doing is data collection about each nominee for this award in order to know more information about everybody.
He urges the public not to have much doubt because it is the church which is organizing the occasion and the program is on process.
On the same note he urges the nominees to remain patient and should carry on their duties well because the fact is the award is in November this year.
