Yambio, 27th June 2017. The Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of South Sudan and Sudan in Yambio urges citizens to share their problems with church leaders to be trauma free at home and society.
Bishop Peter Anibati Abia says many citizens are frightened to disclose their problems simply because of fear, Radio Anisa reports.
He calls on men also to look for trauma healing and counseling because there is a report that women are seeking distress remedy compared to males.
The bishop encourages the people to make use of the opportunity so that the majority can be free from trauma.
He believes it is the role of the church to help Christians with counseling when they turn up with problems.
The Bishop encourages the civil population to be agents of peace in the country.
He was speaking to Radio Anisa on Monday at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Yambio.
