Basic Health and Education services improves says, Priest

Yambio, 7th July 2017. A Priest from the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio says basic health and education services have improved very well at St. Luke the Evangelist parish of Yangiri Parish.
Fr. Luka Yugue told Anisa Radio that they have concentrated very much to raise the standard of primary school called Luka uku and it belongs to the Parish.
In similar development, he reveals that they have a centre called Diabio II which have been experiencing shortage water for 15 years but now they have dug a well aiming to support the community in the area.
He says the well has brought joy to the community adding that the community have been facing challenge of water some times during dry season they migrate with all children to the forest so that they can fetch water.
Fr. Yugue commends the Catholic of Tombura-Yambio for helping to manage to form a group which is called Nazereta supporting group for the people living with HIV/AIDS.
The group is functioning well they were having problem of some drugs like ARV and SAPTRIN but through the attention of CMMB they have supplied the group with the drugs, he adds.
