Tombura, 9th January 2018. The Advisor for Peace and reconciliation in Tombura State is calling for women empowerment at grass-root in the state and in South at large.
Radio Anisa quoted Mary Romano Yata saying in 2018 women in Tombura State are planning to do more self-reliant programs,
She calls on authorities to educate women on their rights and to make their voices heard and reduce the sufferings on females in South Sudan.
The Advisor says in 2017 women were planning to cultivate more, but poor road network prevented them from taking their farm products to other places.
SAFERWORLD organization is helping women in Tombura in training to do more economical activities in the state, she adds.
