Yambio, 5th July 2017. Action for Peace and Development Organization under the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches or CEEC in Gbudue state has organized a half day workshop for church leaders in Yambio on forgiveness and reconciliation.
The Parish of CEEC Yambio organized the training in partnership with democracy international.
Rev Pastor. Jackson Bullen Nathana coordinator for Justice and peace building urges the participants to carry out the message of peace and forgiveness to all their various localities.
He says that peace is paramount which need every group of people like youth, women and all ethnic groups in the state to embrace peace and reconciliation.
Rev. Nathana adds that their major aim is to promote peace as church organization at all levels.
His worship Singira Robert Daniel Yambio town Mayor who was the guest of honor urges the participants to work as team towards peace building.
He calls on the participants to work towards total change in all aspect to pave way for peace.
Singira urges citizens to repent from all the wrong things that have been committed and be united for the wellbeing of the Country.
The half day workshop on citizen’s Engagement in forgiveness for sustainable peace and development brought together 100 church leaders in Yambio.
