Acting governor urges Christians to show hospitality to IDPs.

​Tambura, 4th June 2018. The acting governor of Tombura state yesterday on Sunday urges Christians of Tombura county to be kind to the IDPs who were displaced from Nagero County in the state.
Hon. Lino Utu Takuari says that, as a Christian you should portray your faith in action to the needy who are facing difficulties in the Republic of South Sudan.
He adds that, no one among the host community in Tombura should have the spirit of discrimination against the IDPS from Nagero  
Utu encourages the entire community and the IDPS to portray hospitality and Christians values to the community of Nagero may not return with the good name of Tombura.
He mentioned that, the Government is conscious of the over flow of IDPDs to Tombura and by today Monday all should come to RRC for the allocation of the IDPs Center in Tombura.
Utu stressed that the development partners will be coming soon to respond to the situation of the IDPs in the State like world vision who are already on the ground.
He adds that there’s no money to give to the IDPS who are coming from Nagero because Tombura is still a new state and we to engage in serious prayer for this country for durable peace and unity and disown tribalism.
The speaker made the remark during the solemnity of the Body and blood of Jesus yesterday during Eucharistic celebration at St. Mary parish.
