61 citizens confirm hiding at military barrack in Nagero County.

Tambura, 3rd August 2018. The commissioner of Nagero County confirms that only 61 citizens are now hiding and getting support from army in the military barrack in the Township of Nagero.
Hon. Elario Hassan mentions that he received this report from the government delegation that visited the County recently together with UNMISS team.
He says Nagero County population has gone down because most civilians have deserted the county from the recent insecurity in the area.
The government of Tambura state is working in collaboration with NGOs and UNMISS to maintain good security of the county and to renovate schools, hospital and dig boreholes before the civilians return back he adds.
The official reveals that, they are relocating  IDPs to Mabia in Tambura County where they will stay for some time and their support will be coming from humanitarian partners and UNMISS and they have donated tents for the pupils to be learning under.
Hon. Elario encourages his people to be self-effacing although they undergo challenges and crisis still later on they will be free from the sufferings.       
Mr. Natale Cosmos Dungura the Executive Director of Nagero who represents the government among the delegates testifies that Nagero town has been destroyed by war and everything was looted including Health facility, the church and other institutions.
Fighting broke out between armed men and government forces in Nagero County on the 17th of May, 2018 and this has displaced about 27,000 civilians causing a lot of destruction in the town. 
The officials were speaking to Anisa FM correspondence in Tambura state.
